About Us

Land Tec was founded in 1974 and in these 45 plus years we have gained the knowledge and expertise to offer you our services for all of your landscaping needs. We are one of the leading landscaping companies in Edmonton and pride ourselves on providing high quality services.

We are proud to employ up to 100 people in peak season. Our employees work in approximately 10 construction crews, 3 maintenance crews, 2 inspection preparation crews and 1 crew at our holding nursery. In addition to these crews, we also employ numerous truck drivers. We have a substantial fleet of equipment and vehicles to carry out all sizes of projects smoothly and efficiently.

Implementing a safety culture is of utmost importance to us. We are among the first landscape companies in Edmonton to achieve COR certification. We conduct considerable in-house training and we send all of our foremen to ACSA (Alberta Construction Safety Association) for specific courses.

At Land Tec, we believe in giving back to our community and industry as a whole. Our owner/manager helped develop the Alberta Landscape Apprenticeship program at Olds College and was the industry representative for many years. Much of our senior staff has served or is serving on the Landscape Alberta and Canadian Nursery Landscape Association board. We support staff that wish to pursue education in the Horticulture industry with sponsorship and tuition reimbursement.
